One of the world’s most scenic drives, the Garden Route includes stops like Knysna, Tsitsikamma, and Plettenberg Bay, with wildlife reserves, whale watching, and adventure sports along the way.

Cape Town
Start your journey in South Africa’s cosmopolitan coastal city. Hike or cable up Table Mountain, explore vibrant neighborhoods like Bo-Kaap, and enjoy world-class dining before hitting the road.

Hermanus
A charming seaside town famous for land-based whale watching (June to November). The cliffside paths, ocean views, and local seafood make it a memorable stop.

Knysna
Known for its lagoon, oysters, and forested mountains, Knysna is great for hiking, boat tours, and local art markets. The Knysna Heads viewpoint is a must-see.

Tsitsikamma National Park
This park combines coastal cliffs, dense forests, and suspension bridges over wild rivers. Hike the famous Otter Trail or walk across the Storms River Mouth bridge.

Addo Elephant Park

Just beyond the Garden Route, Addo is home to over 600 elephants and the Big Five. It’s a perfect way to end the journey with wildlife viewing.
